Gentle. It was very...gentle.
He didn't know how this other person sensed his apprehension or inexperience, but he had, and now he was dealing with it as if it was the most fragile thing in this world.
Gerard didn't make the first move- Frank did. Gerard let Frank kiss him. He saw the other boy leaning in, saw him hesitate then continue when Gerard moved foreward slightly, watched the sleepy eyes close. His own vision darkened after that and he felt the cool, firm texture of another mouth on his.
Something about kissing must be instinctual- Gerard assumed it had to be. He had never kissed or been kissed, never fooled around with another person. And yet, as soon as their mouths came together, he just knew to part his lips. He could feel Frank's teeth behind his lips and when they opened their mouths- slightly, ever so slightly, just so their tongues could poke out before darting back inside their respective homes where they were safe and warm- he felt the smooth enamal with his tongue.
Gerard didn't know what to do with his hands. He'd heard people talk, seen movies, read stories. The people involved always seemed to know what to do with their hands. He didn't. He sloppily traced his fingers up Frank's back, the movement feeling thick and stupid and far from romantic. Gerard felt his face getting hot with embarassment and he started to pull out of the kiss. Frank pushed him back in. He simply leaned his head forward to close the gap Gerard had tried to make. Lightening to pressure on their lips he whispered against their skin sloppily, "...Like this..."
Frank brought his hands up Gerard's neck, pushed through the chopped black hair, the very, very slight resistance of the chopped black locks brushing against the webbing of his fingers oddly pleasurable. As his hand rested on the back of Gerard's head, he pulled away slightly so they could breathe. They both smiled out of nervousness when their gazes met, then leaned back in with the same amount of apprehension as they started with.
Gerard expected Frank to push his head into the kiss. He didn't. It just sat there, occassionally twisting the fingers in his hair. Gerard reached up and tugged on Frank's color gently before wrapping his arms around his neck. He pulled down, allowing Frank to lie on top of him, the movement of getting the other boy on to of him awkward and slightly uncomfortable. But Frank was careful- so very, very gentle. He made sure that Gerard was comfortable underneath him, that they weren't pressing to hard against each other or kissing too deeply. This thought made Gerard's insides swell with happiness like a tiny balloon.
They finally opened their mouths fully. Gerard moved first this time, opening his mouth enough so that Frank could let his tongue venture inside. At first Frank hesitated, held his mouth open for a moment, still cradling Gerard's head in his hand like a baby, then began to delicately massage his tongue against Gerard's. They could feel each other's tastebuds, slightly rough against their tongues. Frank tasted almost like nothing- perhaps he had brushed his teeth before they met up. Gerard tasted like very sugary coffee. Their mouths worked against each other- soft, pleasurable. Gerard let his hand rest on the warm, exposed flesh of Frank's hip- the place where his shirt had rode up and is pants had come down. His pinky finger played against the exposed boxer shorts.
There was a few more minutes of kissing. A few minutes where they just enjoyed their mouths and skin and hair. They pulled away when they needed to breathe fully and their cheeks were sore. The two breathed against each other and smiled sheepishly. Frank kissed the tip of Gerard's nose before he layed down on his chest. The sigh that he released from his chest was refreshed and sleepy, simple and natural.
And even that was gentle.

"Fuck it" I said, sweat dripping down my face.
I threw my phone on the ground, for dramatization? Yeah.
"Gerard, I love you. I am in love with you. There. I said it."
His facial expression, puzzled, yet..relieved?
His eyebrows had risen, and his mouth had opened.
As if, he was speechless, his lips twitched in attempt at responding.
My body no longer covered in sweat because we were stuck in the middle of a desert.
stranded until, who knows when.
I was now so nervous, the rush of heat spreading throughout my veins, caused little beads of fear of rejection to fall down my face.
"Ugh, the car broke down, dammit to hell" our manager Bri

Gerard wakes up, burying into his blankets, blocking the light from his eyes. He dreamt about the zombie apocalypse and he didnt want it to end, but after about 6 or 7 minutes, he figured he wasnt going to fall back asleep, so he sat up and looked at his clock.
Damn, 2:48 already, it feels like I fell asleep only an hour ago. Gerard whispers to himself. He gets up walks into the bathroom (thats connected to his room) and looks at himself in the mirror. He has eyeliner smeared under his eyes, and his hair is sticking up in almost every direction. Hes wearing his blue boxers and a baggy black tee shirt.

Kisses Continued
They lay there; the only source of warmth was their body heat. Frankie slept comfortably, enclosed in Gerards arms, his head resting in the crook of the larger mans neck. Gerard stayed awake. Warmed slightly by the heat of the man above him, he treasured the moment before him. All this time, and he never would have guessed. He did not know how badly he had wanted this, until it presented its face in the form of Frank Iero, the man who now slept peacefully in his arms. His newfound love. Iero breathed in deeply and let out a subconscious sigh. His lip ring glinted in the moonlight. Gerard felt the warmth fl
