"I see" said the blind man to his deaf son, as he picked up his hammer and saw"

My dads been saying that to me since I was born, its pretty much been around for forever. The most common version is just "I see said the blind man, as he picked up his hammer and saw" but there's a bunch of others that involve his deaf wife, his deaf dog, and his deaf son.
